Common Grounds wins Belfast Fair Trade Café of the Year 2011

Common Grounds celebrated back-to-back wins as we scooped the award for Fairtrade Café of the Year 2011 in the Belfast Fairtrade Awards for the second year running.

The annual awards recognise people, employers or businesses that have made an ‘outstanding personal contribution’ to promoting the Fairtrade concept. This is the second consecutive year that Common Grounds has won the award for best café.

The awards give the public the chance to recognise fair trade businesses and to vote for their favourite.

Our former manager Charmaine Orr and Dave Clements picked up the award at Belfast City Hall.
