Free Christmas Day Meal 2016
- posted in: News
We’re all ready to serve up our 10th annual offering of a free Christmas Day meal for anyone in Belfast who’s down on their luck or who’ll be at home alone on 25th December.
Together with City Church Belfast, we’ll be providing the full Christmas works, including roast turkey (with a Halal option), stuffing, cooked ham, roasties and all the trimmings, and have an amazing team of volunteers lined up to serve and wash up afterwards.
So, if you know of anyone who’d enjoy some company on 25th December, along with a decent hot meal and some festive cheer, then let them know that our doors are open.
We’ll be there to welcome them – dishing up a tasty traditional Christmas dinner, followed by Christmas pudding – and helped along with some warm company.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Christmas Day anytime from 12:30pm until 3:00pm at Common Grounds Cafe, University Avenue, Belfast.
And if you are thinking of donating food or wanting to volunteer – the good news is that, thanks to everyone’s generosity, we already have more than sufficient. If you’d like, you could make a donation to our chosen charity, South Belfast Foodbank.
